How do benefits or health insurance work, and what do they cost?

Available benefits depend on your country and, in some cases, an external provider. Tell us which benefits you're interested in, and we'll confirm availability and send a full cost breakdown before anything is activated: the benefit amounts, the provider's fee, and our administration fee, with the start date. 

Benefits processed through payroll are typically reimbursed one month in arrears (used in one month, paid with the next month's salary). Nothing is activated until you've confirmed the costs.

The tax treatment of the benefit also depends on your country's regulations: in some cases, the benefit is exempt from taxation (fully or partially), and in others it's treated as a benefit in kind and taxed together with your salary. We'll confirm how your specific benefit is taxed before activating it, so there are no surprises on your payslip.
