Sick leave rules may vary depending on the employee's country. Two possible scenarios exist:
1. Documentation required immediately: the employee sends sick leave documentation to the employer directly.
2. Flexible sick leave policy: in some countries, employees may submit a sick leave request without documentation for the first two days.
In the flexible case: the employee selects a checkbox confirming that documentation will be provided later, the request is marked as documentation required from the employer, and the request can't be approved until documentation is uploaded.
